Empowering Every Learner
I am delighted to serve as your child’s Intervention Specialist at Wapak Elementary School next school year. My name is Elaine Wiesenmayer, and I am thrilled to be a part of your child's educational journey.
First and foremost, I want to express how honored I am to have the opportunity to work with your child. This age is a crucial time in a child's educational journey, filled with moments of curiosity, discovery, and growth. I am wholeheartedly committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where your child can thrive academically and socially. Together, we will celebrate their growth and achievements throughout this exciting year.
My classroom will be housed at Wapakoneta High School as it was this past school year. If you walk into my room, you will see the students engaged in their learning and happy to be at school. Building strong relationships with my students, and among the class as a whole, is a priority to me. I hope to also work collaboratively with you, as they strive to meet high expectations for behavior, social skills, and academic skills. I will work hard to facilitate their success every step of the way, and invite open communication with you to best meet their needs. The class will spend time each day at the elementary school participating in WES Walkers, recesses, specials classes, lunch, holiday celebrations, and assemblies. They will also participate in other group activities throughout the year, field trips, field day, etc. as they come up. It is important to ensure that the kids have time to build relationships with their peers.
Hi, my name is Kelsi Kuprat and I am very excited to be starting my fourth year of teaching as a First Grade Intervention Specialist at Wapak Elementary. I am originally from New Jersey and now reside in Saint Marys, Ohio. I attended Bowling Green State University to obtain my Bachelor of Science in Education along with my Masters of Education where I specialized in Autism Spectrum Disorder.
I believe hands-on learning is one of the best ways that my students master skills. Brainstorming with other teachers is where I develop some of my best ideas, and talking with parents is where I learn the most about the students. I will be communicating with you daily!
